The Tigers finished up a disappointing series with the Royals by losing, 3-0 to Steve Renko and company. It was the second time in the series that Detroit was blanked. Matt Wilcox took the loss, dropping to 6-10. After dropping three out of five, the Tigers find themselves 4.5 games back of Baltimore. Detroit now heads to Comiskey Park in Chicago to take on the White Sox.
