WHITE SOX ROUT TIGERS IN MAKE UP GAME, 10-2
The Chicago White Sox scored ten runs over the first four innings, and never looked back, as they went on to a 10-3 win, in a game postponed from earlier in the year.
Greg Luzinski hit two home runs and Ron Kittle hit a grand slam in the rout.
Detroit got a run in the first on a Larry Parrish rbi groundout, then added two more in the seventh, but this game was all Chicago. Dan Petry(13-8) lasted just two innings. He gave up Luzinski’s first homer, a two run shot in the first, along with Kittle’s grannie. Juan Berenguer allowed the Bull’s second homerun.
The game was Detroit’s first double digit loss since August 6th at the hands of the Yankees.
