LEMON’S HR LIFTS TIGERS TO WIN IN FINAL GAME OF CLEVELAND SERIES
Chet Lemon’s 21st home run in the bottom of the eighth put Detroit ahead to stay, as the Tigers were able to salvage one out of three against the Indians.
Dan Petry earned the win, improving to 17-8, while Juan Berenguer collected his fifth save.
The Orioles defeated the Red Sox, so Detroit stays at 4.5 games behind.
