CHAMBERS’ SHUTOUT COMPLETES SWEEP OF PHILLIES BY BUCS
The Pittsburgh Pirates have won four in a row, completing a 4 game sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The final 2-0 win was a 3 hit shutout by Cliff Chambers(5-3). Chambers fanned nine and walked four in the gem.
Pete Castigilano knocked in Phil Masi in the fifth, then Wally Westlake singled in Stan Rojek, for an eighth inning insurance run.
