KINER BAILS OUT BUCS WITH GAME WINNING, 11TH INNING BLAST

The Pirates blew a 7 run lead against Brooklyn, having scored five runs in the first and three more in the second, then watching the Dodgers storm their way back to tie the game at 8-8.

Gil Hodges slammed two home runs and Duke Snider had a homer and a double. For the Bucs, Wally Bockman had four hits; Dino Restelli homered, but it was Kiner who emerged as the hero.
