BIG “KLU” POWERS REDS PAST PIRATES
Cincinnati slugger, Ted Kluzewski broke a 3-3 tie by slamming a two run homer in the top of the seventh inning, as the Reds beat the Pirates for the second straight day.
Grady Hatton had a 3-5 day for Cincinnati, scoring 3 of the team’s five runs.
Murray Dickson(6-10) lost in relief of starter, Bob Chesnes. Dino Restelli(8) homered for the Pirates.
