KINDER GRINDS OUT COMPLETE GAME IN 5-1 WIN OVER BROWNS

Ellis Kinder(5-4) stayed the course, allowing nine hits along the way, but ended up going the distance in a 5-2 Red Sox win over St. Louis.

The Browns’ Red Embree walked the bases loaded, then gave up a single and a double in a four run fifth inning.

Now up two games to none, Boston looks toward a double header with the Browns next.
