July 30. Gm# 96 Fenway Park Cleveland 9 Boston 1
INDIANS SLAM RED SOX YET AGAIN.
Boston is playing some of their worst ball of the year in this series. For the third straight game, Cleveland scored 9 runs, to shell the Red Sox, 9-1.
3 more Boston errors, eight total in the series, have left the team reeling. Even ace, Mel Parnell(14-3) couldn’t stop the insanity.
Cleveland’s Early Wynn, got the win, pun intended. He tossed a complete game, six hitter.
At least Chicago beat New York, or it would have been worse.
Other American League scores: Chicago 9 New York 2; Detroit 11 Philadelphia 0; St. Louis 11 Washington 9.
