DESPITE TWO DICK STUART HOME RUNS, BUCS LOSE TO BRAVES, 3-2

A pair of Dick Stuart(1,2) homers couldn’t make up for a key error by Bill Mazeroski, as the miscue lead to three unearned runs in the top of the fifth, allowing Milwaukee to edge Pittsburgh, 3-2.

Stuart’s solo shots came in the second and ninth innings. Harvey Haddix(1-1) took the loss. Pittsburgh’s Fred Green pitched very well in relief, four innings of scoreless ball, allowing just two hits.

Milwaukee’s Juan Pizzaro earned the complete game victory.
