JOHNNY ANTONELLI SPINS 3 HIT SHUTOUT AGAINST PIRATES

Another one run game, another loss for Pittsburgh. This time, it was San Francisco’s Johnny Antonelli that turned the trick, as he blanked the Bucs with a three hit shutout.

Roberto Clemente, Smokey Burgess and Don Hoak were the only Pirates to even single off Antonelli. The Giants hurler fanned three and walked two in the complete game effort.

Vernon Law(4-1) lost for the first time this year. The Giants go for the series sweep tomorrow.
