Naturals 8 Sultans 5; Naturals 3 Sultans 1. Mike Trout of the Naturals has had a disappointing start to the season, however, he was on fire in the first game of two against the Sultans. Terrifics 11 Mad Dogs 2; Mad Dogs 10 Terrifics 6. The two top teams in the Legends League split their twinbill, with each club winning a rout against the other. The Terrifics sent 15 men to the plate in an eleven run, third inning, one short of a record, in the 11-2 opening game. Reggie Jackson belted a grand slam in the aforementioned inning and Steve Carlton pitched another great game. He went nine innings, allowing two runs on just four hits, while fanning 9 and walking just one. A mistake pitch to Mark McGwire cost Lefty the shutout. WP-Steve Carlton(4-0). LP-David Wells(2-2). The Mad Dogs got even in game two, as the Terrifics committed three errors, leading to five unearned runs. Comets 3 Peaches 2 In the only single game on the slate, the Comets edged the Peaches on a two run homerun by Ken Boyer, in the top of the seventh inning.
