Comets 5 Clippers 4 Jimmie Foxx’s error in the top of the seventh allowed Ken Boyer to reach base. Boyer would later score on Mickey Mantle’s second double of the game. Naturals 3 Terrifics 1 A stellar outing by Clayton Kershaw, helped the Naturals turn back the Terrifics, 3-1. Kershaw pitched a complete game, four hitter, fanning nine against just two walks. The only mistake by Kershaw(and the Terrifics only run), was a solo homerun by Mike Schmidt. Bryce Harper, Robinson Cano, Miguel Cabrera and Yadier Molina all had two hits each for the Naturals. Peaches 5 Hammers 2 The Peaches extended their win streak to six games, as they scored three runs in the top of the tenth, to beat Larry Jackson and the Hammers.
