Mad Dogs 4 Peaches 2 Ken Griffey Jr. hit a pinch hit, three run, walkoff homer, to defeat the slumping Peaches, who have lost eight in a row. Clippers 5 Sultans 2 Joe DiMaggio led the first place Clippers to their fifth win in a row, with a 3-3 day with two walks. DiMaggio had a double, triple and homerun, lacking only a single for the cycle. He drove in five runs. Lefty Williams of the Sultans continues to struggle. He remains winless at 0-6.
