Peaches 8 Terrifics 3. The Peaches took both ends of a doubleheader against the Terrifics. Game one saw Walter Johnson beating Fergie Jenkins. Clippers 8 Naturals 2. The Clippers won their eighth straight game, beating the Naturals, 8-2 and extending their lead to 3.5 games over the second place, Mad Dogs. Comets 3 Mad Dogs 2. The Comets held off the Mad Dogs for a 3-2 win. Barry Bonds homered in the bottom of the ninth, but the Dogs fell a run short.
