Terrifics 7 Clippers 2. #1 The Terrifics ended a four game skid, by defeating the first place Clippers, in the first of two games. Winner, Tom Seaver, pitched a solid eight innings. A four run, fourth inning was too much for the Clippers to overcome. WP-Tom Seaver(6-8). LP-Mel Parnell(5-6). HR-Mike Schmidt(19); Jimmie Foxx(19).

Clippers 11 Terrifics 3. #2 The Clippers got their revenge in a big way, with an 11- 3 rout of the Terrifics. Mel Ott led the B squad with a pair of homers, while Jimmie Foxx belted another, as he played both games. Bob Feller stays undefeated for the Clippers. George Foster played left field for the B team, hitting his 16th homerun. WP-Bob Feller(4-0). LP-Steve Blass(2-4). HR-George Foster(16); Mel Ott 2(3), Jimmie Foxx(20).
