Greg Maddux had his best start of the year, earning his first shutout in a 5- 0 effort against the Naturals. He allowed just two hits, struck out 11 and walked just one batter. Maddux’s fine performance put an end to Miguel Cabrera’s 17 game hit streak. Chipper Jones had a triple and a double and Sosa and Griffey, Jr. each socked homeruns. WP-Greg Maddux(7-6).
