Troy Tulowitzki was a double shy of hitting for the cycle, as he led the Naturals to a 5-3 win over the Comets in the first of two games. Tulo homered in the bottom of the third, tripled in the fourth, then singled in the sixth. He came up in the eighth with a chance at the cycle, but flew out to centerfield. Miguel Cabrera helped out the B squad team, lacing a two run single in the bottom of the sixth, as the Nats came from behind against Early Wynn, for a 2-1 win and the sweep. Adam Wainwright pitched a strong seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits. Javier Lopez worked the final two innings to earn the save. The loss is the sixth in a row for the slumping Comets, while the Naturals have put together a four game, win streak. WP-Adam Wainwright(7-3). LP-Early Wynn(4-3).
