JONES IS 1ST PLAYER WITH 3 HOMERUNS IN MULTIPLE GAMES

MAD DOGS NOW JUST A HALF GAME BACK

Mad Dogs 12 Comets 5

Chipper Jones led the way, as the Mad Dogs destroyed the Comets, 12-5. The red hot Mad Dogs have logged five straight wins. Hammers 7 Terrifics 2

The last place Hammers powered past the Terrifics in a 7-2 win. They got long balls from: Frank Robinson(21), Willie Mays(35) and Hank Aaron(33). Jim Rice(6) hit a pinch hit homerun for the Terrifics. He now leads the B teamers in homers. WP-Juan Marichal(8-6). LP-Tom Seaver(9-12).

Naturals 6 Clippers 3

The struggling Clippers have dropped three in a row, their latest loss coming to the Naturals, who defeated them, 6-3. The loss puts the second place Mad Dogs just a half game back in the standings.
