Warren Spahn twirled a five hit shutout, to beat the Hammers, 4-0. It was a bright spot in what has been a dismal year for the lefty. That’s his second whitewash this season. Mad Dogs 10 Terrifics 2

The Mad Dogs routed the Terrifics, 10-2, with Greg Maddux going the distance. Barry Bonds had three doubles in five at bats; A-Rod, Sammy Sosa and Roberto Alomar all had two baggers. Chipper Jones(28) went deep, as did Johnny Bench(20), for the losing team. WP-Maddux(11-8). LP-Lolich(7-7).

Jimmie Foxx(38) becomes the first Legends Leaguer with 100 rbi’s, as he belted a grand slam, to lead his club to a 6-2 win over the Peaches. Carl Hubbell went seven innings. WP-Hubbell(14-2). LP-Plank(5-6).

Naturals 5 Sultans 2

Bryce Harper(10) led the offense in a 5-2 win over the Sultans, by slugging a double and a homerun. Max Scherzer logged win #15. WP-Scherzer(15-6). LP-Williams(2-13).
