COBB’S 9TH INNING ERROR COST PEACHES IN 4-3 LOSS TO COMETS

The Peaches scored three runs in the top of the ninth and looked poised for victory however, a Mickey Mantle(37) solo homerun and a Ty Cobb two base error, led to two runs in the bottom of the ninth, giving the Comets the 4-3 win. TROUT WALKOFF HR EXTENDS NATURALS WIN STREAK TO 6 GAMES

Mike Trout(17) belted a game winning homerun in the bottom of the ninth, as the Comets won for the sixth straight time.
