SPECIAL NOTICE

The Legends League commissioner has decreed that the season will end on August 31.(The reasons are that, the commissioner(me) has made mistakes in the scheduling of this season. The eight teams in the league were using the actual schedules of the American League in 1954, however, I errored in using both Retrosheet for games actually played and also using old newspapers online for games scheduled. This led to games being entered multiple times on several occasions. It’s also why there is up to a 9 game difference in games played between teams at this point. As it is a two team race, I’ve decided to run the games until August 31st, using Retrosheet results only.
