BUCS BOUNCE BACK TO GET 4-2 WIN OVER EXPOS
Both teams scored a pair of runs in the first inning. Pittsburgh broke the tie, when Manny Sanguillen scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh. Rennie Stennett singled in Dave Cash for the second run of the inning. That score held up as the final, 4-2, in favor of Pittsburgh.
Bob Johnson started and went five innings, allowing a two run homer to Ron Fairley, in the top of the first. Bob Moose pitched the next two frames and was the pitcher of record, to earn the win.
