CARDINALS SHAVE PIRATES LEAD TO JUST 3 GAMES
Pittsburgh didn’t play today, but St. Louis did, taking both games of a double header against Philadelphia. As a result, they have closed the gap to just three games back of the league leading Pirates.
There are just two games in the East on September 8th. Montreal plays New York and Chicago plays at Pittsburgh.
