The Athletics lost to the Chicago White Sox again, the first time this season they have dropped two games straight. Errors played a big role in the 5-3 loss, as miscues by Eddie Collins Jr. and Crash Davis led to three unearned runs against Bullet Joe Rogan, who took the loss.
The current road trip moves on to St. Louis to face the Browns.
