The Cleveland Indians bounced back to take game two of their series with the Philadelphia Athletics, 5-2. Al Milnar went eight innings for Cleveland to earn the win.
Joe Rogan started for Philadelphia and pitched seven innings, but the Indians got to Bump Hadley in relief. Hadley surrendered three runs in the top of the eighth to put the game out of reach.
