The Philadelphia Athletics swept the Washington Senators, 1-0 and 4-0, in yesterday’s twinbill.
In game one, they got one run off Steve Sundra and made it hold up for the rest of the game. Joe Rogan and Tom Ferrick combined for the shutout win.
The second contest saw Bill Foster handle things all by himself, as he earned a complete game, whitewash, complete with eleven strikeouts.
Philadelphia has one final game against Washington, before heading out on a 17 game road trip.
