Boston defeated Philadelphia for the second straight day, this time, in a 10-5 blowout. Joe Rogan gave up six runs in just four innings pitched. Jimmie Foxx blasted two home runs and Ted Williams, who has homered in his last three games, hit one.
Josh Gibson remains red hot, with another circuit clout and he, like Williams has homered in three straight games. Bill Foster will toe the slab for the Athletics in the final game of the series.
