WP-TOM FERRICK(2-2) LP-JOE KRAKAUSKAS
With the game tied at three, Cleveland reliever, Joe Krakauskas got Wally Moses to ground out for the first out in the bottom of the ninth. He then walked Crash Davis and pinch hitter, Josh Gibson doubled, putting runners at second and third. Cleveland brought the infield in, but Cool Papa Bell drew a four pitch walk. Krakauskas then issued his third free pass of the inning, handing the game to Philadelphia.
It had to be a frustrating series for Cleveland, who last all three games, two of them by one run, the other by two.
Philadelphia does not play tomorrow, but there are three other American League games scheduled. Standings will be posted on completion of those contests.
