The Athletics have reached a bump in the road, having lost three games in a row for the first time this season. They were defeated, 9-1 by the New York Yankees, in their latest loss.
Joe Rogan took the loss, but the Yanks poured it on clear to the end, scoring three runs in the top of the ninth. The Yankees also hit three triples off Philadelphia pitching.
