After a long road trip, the Philadelphia Athletics returned home and notched a 4-1 win over St. Louis, thanks to a complete game performance by Joe Rogan, who improves to 9-5. The game was a 0-0 pitcher’s duel with the Browns’, Joe Grace, until the Athletics broke it open, with a four run, sixth inning. James Bell and Benny McCoy were both 2-4.
