Tom Ferrick made his first start of the year in game two of this double header. He went five innings, allowing two runs, one unearned, on eight hits. Philadelphia broke a 2-2 tie, when Pete Suder scored on a Billy Sullivan passed ball in the bottom of the eighth inning. Joe Williams earned the win in relief.
