GM#138 SEPTEMBER 10, 1941 VS. CLEVELAND INDIANS
ATHLETICS BULLPEN STUMBLES IN 6-3 LOSS TO INDIANS
CLE 6 12 0
PHI 3 9 1
WP-CLINT BROWN SV-JOE HEVING LP-TOM FERRICK(7-7)
Athletics starter, Bill Foster left the game with a 4-1 lead, but a two base error by Wally Moses, in the eighth inning, led to two runs against Joe Williams. Tom Ferrick, who won yesterday, took over, but he was completely ineffective today. He loaded the bases on two singles and a walk and all those runs would come around to score. Buck Leonard had three hits to lead Philadelphia’s offense.
