Joe Rogan took a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning. His teammates got him an insurance run, which was needed, as the Browns got a solo homer from Chet Laabs in the top of the eighth. In the end, Philadelphia hung on, for the 4-3 win.
The homestand concludes with a single game against the Detroit Tigers.
