The Phenoms will take a three-game win streak into Chicago as they leave Detroit with a 6-1 win. Pete Alexander went seven and a third innings to collect his second win of the tour.
Three balls left the ballpark, as Tulowitzki, Jackson and Dawson all homered. It was a monster game off the bench for Andre Dawson, who was spelling Willie Mays in centerfield. Dawson was 3-5, with a home run and a double and also stole a base.
Tigers designated hitter; Jim Delehanty, was the only Detroit player who had much success. He was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate. The sensational Ty Cobb was held to one hit in four at bats, though he did score the Tigers lone run.
