Frank Robinson laced a two run double into the corner, in the top of the tenth inning, giving the Phenoms a 3-1 lead. That score would hold up, as the Phenoms defeated the 1911 St. Louis Browns.
Kerry Wood started and went six innings, but despite allowing only one run, was not particularly sharp. Mark Eichhorn took over in the seventh and was terrific. He pitched four scoreless frames, giving up just two hits, while fanning five Browns.
Joe Jackson got the day off. He was replaced in right field by Bob Meusel.
The 1911 segment of the tour winds up against the St. Louis Cardinals.
