The Phenoms suffered their worst defeat so far on their tour, as the 1920 Brooklyn Dodgers defeated them, by a score of 8 to 2. Starting pitcher, Shohei Ohtani was tagged for six runs in just 3.2 innings pitched. The Phenoms offense was punchless yet again, with three players in the starting lineup, held hitless. Cal Ripken did have a home run, while Joe Jackson and Eddie Murray each doubled.

Dodger starter, Dazzy Vance fell into a 2-0 hole, when Jackson doubled and scored in the first. He then allowed Ripken’s home run in the second inning but was nearly untouchable after that. He ended up with a complete game, five hitter, fanning eleven along the way.

The Phenoms also committed two errors in the game.
