Three baseballs left the park, as the Phenoms won for the seventh straight time on their tour. They defeated the 1924 New York Giants, 5-3, to remain unbeaten in the 1924 block.
Team leader, Frank Robinson hit his ninth circuit clout. Joe Jackson and Andre Dawson also went deep. Hideo Nomo went six innings in earning the win, while Mark Fidrych tossed three innings of scoreless relief and nabbed a save.
