After dropping their previous two games, the Phenoms bounced back in a big way. They not only got a five-hit shutout from Hideo Nomo, his first of the year, but also set a new single game run mark, with fifteen, by pounding the 1924 Indians, 15-0.
Nomo struck out seven and walked just one, while on offense, Eddie Murray had a home run, double, two singles and five runs batted in. Willie Mays scored four runs at the top of the order; Andre Dawson had three hits, including a triple. Finally, Troy Tulowitzki was 3-4, scored three times and had three runs batted in.
Every player in the lineup had at least one hit.
