The Phenoms snapped a 1-1 tie with the Cardinals by exploding for five runs in the top of the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught was capped off by a three-run home run by Johnny Bench, his second of the tour. Eddie Murray and Frank Robinson also went deep, Robby added a double and two singles.
Kerry Wood remains unbeaten at 8 and 0.
The next leg of the tour will be against the 1934 teams, starting with the Red Sox.
