1924 LEG RECAP
The Phenoms just completed the 1924 leg of their barnstorming tour, finishing with a 13-3 record.
Four of the highest run totals thus far, were reached on this leg. First, they defeated the 1924 Red Sox, 13 to 4; next they beat the 1924 Phillies, 14 to 1. After that, they set a new high for runs, as well as biggest margin of victory, with a 15-0 shutout of the 1924 Indians. Finally, they were victorious against the 1924 Cubs, 12 to 6.
Kerry Wood had three wins in this grouping, as did Jose Fernandez. Wood and Hideo Nomo pitched shutouts. The Phenoms were shutout twice, once by Ray Kremer and once by Urban Shocker.
