The Phenoms scored five runs over the first two innings, chasing Brooklyn starter, Van Lingle Mungo from the game early, then held on for a 7 to 3 victory over the 1934 Dodgers.
Frank Robinson had three hits, including a triple and Troy Tulowitzki and Cal Ripken homered, the latter for the second straight game.
Joe Page continues to struggle. He was brought into a very low leverage situation (the Phenoms held a six-run lead) but quickly gave up two runs on a walk, a triple and a sacrifice fly. He allowed another single and walk in the last of the ninth but was able to finish the game.
