After struggling for much of the 1951 phase, the Phenoms have rattled off six straight wins, the latest coming over the ’51 Reds, in a 4 to 1 decision.
Jose Fernandez pitched seven innings of shutout ball. Mark Fidrych took over for two innings. In the bottom of the ninth, the Reds would notch their only run on a sacrifice fly by catcher, Johnny Pramesa. Troy Tulowitzki led the offense with a triple and a home run.
