The Phenoms scored early and often, as they put up four runs over the first four innings, going on to beat the 1951 St. Louis Browns, 7-2. Pete Alexander got the win in a quality start, allowing two runs over seven innings. Joe Jackson, Eddie Murray and Carlton Fisk, all had two hits, in the win.
