#2 hitter, Andre Dawson was three for five, #3 hitter, Shohei Ohtani was three for five, with a triple and a home run and #4 hitter, Frank Robinson was two for five, with a two-run home run. That part of the order was largely the reason for the Phenoms’ 7-1 victory over the 1960 Orioles.
Hideo Nomo was no slouch on the slab either. He tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on three hits. He racked up eleven strikeouts against just three walks.
NEXT GAME: AT 1960 WASHINGTON SENATORS
