The 1960 phase has not been kind to the Phenoms, who are not playing good ball at the present time. They are 2-5 in this block, have lost three straight games and have dropped seven of their last ten. Walt Bond, Harvey Kuenn and John Romano all homered for Cleveland in the 7-4 win. Winning pitcher, Jim Perry went seven and two thirds’ innings, for the win.
The only player who has been really hot for the Phenoms is Frank Robinson. He has hit five home runs in his last five games.
