Just two days after Hideo Nomo pitched a shutout, the Phenoms’ Jose Fernandez tossed his third of the tour, beating the ’60 Cubs, 1-0. It was win #100 for the rookies, against 55 defeats. Joe Jackson hit a rbi double in the top of the seventh, for the game’s only run. Fisk, Tulowitzki, Robinson and Pedroia all had two hits each for the offense.
