Denny McLain became the first pitcher in any of my Strat games to toss back-to-back, one hit shutouts. His 3-0 win over the Yankees put him in the record book and he also became the first pitcher to throw at least three in one season. McLain lost this game in the real world, for only the fifth time in 1968.
