Dazzy collected his third win out of four starts, all of them shutouts. He had a mountain of run support in this game, which was effectively over in the first inning. Braves’ starter, Joe Genowich was tagged for five runs in the opening stanza. The Robins went on to a 9-0 rout over the Boston Braves. Robins’ shortstop made up for two errors by going 4-5 at the plate, with a walk. He scored three runs as well. The other big bopper was Jack Fournier, who had a double, triple and two singles, along with five rbis.
