Well, it’s back-to-back no-decisions for Dazzy Vance. He took a 2-0 lead into the seventh inning against the Phillies, then allowed four straight singles, before exiting the game. At the end of the seventh, Philadelphia had taken a 3-2 lead. But the Robins didn’t fold, putting up a three spot of their own in the top of the eighth, to regain the lead and eventually win, 5-3. Vance also had a rough start in real life, not being able to get out of the first inning, after giving up a pair of home runs.
