The Robins have been terrible against the Giants this year. They now have a 1-4 record against them, with yesterday’s 6-2 defeat, the latest low point. Milt Stock committed two errors and Eddie Brown added another in a sloppy defensive effort. Vance actually didn’t pitch too badly, but Ross Youngs hit for the cycle for the Giants. He clubbed a first inning home run, then later tripled, reached on an error, doubled and singled.
